57th Annual Wonderful World of Weddings Slated for January 4-5

The 57th annual Wonderful World of Weddings, Wisconsin’s longest-running and most prestigious bridal show, will take place Sat., Jan. 4 – Sun., Jan. 5, 2025, in West Allis, Wis. at the Exposition Center at Wisconsin State Fair Park. Hours are 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily.

More than 120 Wonderful World of Weddings exhibitors will be available to consult with attendees on all aspects of wedding planning, sharing the latest in fashion trends, including wedding gowns, tuxedos, wedding party fashions, wedding cakes and desserts, travel destinations, catering and mobile bartending services, photographers and videographers, florists, reception facilities, musicians and DJs, and event transportation.

Live music, provided by ACA Music & Entertainment, will greet guest attendees as they enter the lobby. Wedding show attendees will…

  • Receive a complimentary “bridal bag,” which includes a copy of the new 2025 issue of Premier Bride, Greater Milwaukee’s guide to the perfect wedding.
  • Sample desserts and taste test delicacies from local restaurants and caterers.
  • Hear music from pop-oriented DJs and string quartets to harpists and brass quintets.
  • Experience the scent of floral bouquets and centerpieces.
  • See creative new table settings and décor.
  • View stunning portfolios by wedding photographers and videographers.
  • Plan their honeymoon or a destination wedding.

Attendees can enter to win a Grand Prize Honeymoon Trip Courtesy of First Choice Travel & Cruise, a 4-day/3-night stay at the Royalton CHIC Punta Cana, and round-trip airfare on Funjet Vacations. Guests can have photos taken in front of Jonathan’s Portraits “wings” and receive a QR code to download their images following the show.

The Bartolotta Restaurants will sponsor an event bar with themed beverages, including the Marry Me Mimosa, the Blissful Bride Bellini, Something Old-Fashioned, Bloody Mary’s, and other creative cocktails. Mocktail versions of several of the beverages will also be available.

The Fox World Travel booth will feature a Mimosa Lounge on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Choreographed fashion shows, presented by models and dancers, will feature wedding dresses, wedding party gowns, tuxedos, accessories, and floral arrangements. Bouquets with gift cards will be tossed after each show, and a program includes dress style numbers and purchase locations.

Speakers from Fox World Travel and First Choice Travel & Cruise will appear daily on the presentation stage to discuss how to plan a honeymoon getaway for any budget. There will also be daily performances by Fred Astaire professional dancers.

Area transportation companies will offer vehicles onsite that attendees can tour to help them decide on the best option for their wedding day, bachelor or bachelorette parties, or other event-related activities they might have planned to celebrate their day.

Advance tickets are available at https://www.wisconsinweddingshow.com/tickets/ – $14 each for ages 13 to 64 and $7 for those 65 and older. Admission at the gate will be $16, with children aged 12 and under admitted at no charge. All military personnel with a military ID card will be admitted free.
